Editing (and creating) lyrics

The lyrics editor looks like this:

What's that arrow?

The display of the MP-FUB34 can only show around 18 letters on the display at the one time - the actual number depends upon what characters are to be displayed. Anything more will be shown by scrolling. The grey downward-pointing arrow marks the position of the eighteenth letter. If you try to keep each line of your lyrics below this, it should be visible at all times. If you only use around two thirds of the width, it shouldn't scroll.
The problem, however, is that the MP-FUB34 only appears to allocate space for seventy lines of lyrics, so you will probably have to trade off what will fit on-screen at one time with keeping under 70 lines.
Yes, it is a depressingly small limitation. 128 lines would have been a lot more workable!

Obviously, this relates to the MP-FUB34, different models may behave differently or have different display sizes.

This begins the process of matching the lyrics of a song to the song itself.

Note that the Match process does not save the lyrics file - you must save it yourself afterwards.
You will receive a warning if you are saving a lyrics file that contains more than seventy lines.
 
Click with the LEFT mouse button to rewind to the beginning of the song.
If there is a line that you didn't quite hear, clicking with the RIGHT mouse button will back up five seconds.
 
or This button plays your music.
If your music is currently playing, this pauses it, and clicking again resumes playing.
 
Stops playing your chosen song.
The playback position is reset to the start of the song when you stop.
 
Use this to finish with WaxLyrical.
 
 
The positional message at the lower-right of the window relates to the playback status:
 
Playback has not commenced, but is ready.
 
Playback is currently in progress, right now playing seven seconds into the song.
The display shows MM:SS.
 
Playback has been paused eight seconds into the song. The hash symbols mean 'paused'.
 
Playback has been stopped.
 
Playback is not available because of an error in starting playback.
