Willow

Buffy, episode 3.10

("Amends")

Vague storyline that bears little in common with the actual storyline... :-)

We start with the gang fretting over a dream Buffy head involving Angel. Here, Willow is fretting. Oz frets to, but in a totally different context. :-)

In a classroom, Oz approaches Willow. Maybe, as the episode title says, it is time to make amends.

And so the happy smile comes back.

Where Faith is hanging out, with a cruddy TV.

Angel knows he is ill, and he turns to his last hope, Giles. But, having tortured Giles when in demon form (as Angelous), you can understand why Giles is a little cautious at being around Angel.

Robia LaMorte is back! Sadly, she's like the Big Bad Evil to top all evily evil things that go bump in the night and exude evil while they're doing it (and if you think evil four times in the one sentence is bad enough, wait 'til you hear how it is described in the programme).

For those of you who don't know real names, that's Jenny Calender. Yup, the "technopagan" computer science teacher that Angelous terrorised, then killed. Visciously.

So Xander rolls up, like Christmas Eve or something, and says he is willing to help.
Buffy says "Are you sure this is how you wanna spend your Christmas vacation?".
Xander replies "Yeah, this is actually the most exciting thing I've got planned. Who else can claim that pathetic a social life?"

Then we cut to... "Hey, guys. What are we doing?"

Sunnydale, by day. Included for a bit of local colour, as we don't tend to see much of the place.

So that evening, Willow calls Oz over. She's sitting... Well, like this.

am10.jpeg; 20K

So Oz sits down - check his expression. I might mention that Barry White is doing his stuff on the soundtrack. That killed me, it really did.

am11.jpeg; 20K

"So, Oz, wanna screw?"
Of course, being Willow, she said it nicer, and in many more words. But the question's the same.
Meanwhile, I'm thinking how no girl ever has said anything even remotely like "you're cute and I'm single" to me (ps: if you considered it, you know my email address!).

While Willow is coming on the Oz (and eventually being let down, he wasn't ready yet), Buffy is having a crisis. She's sharing dreams with Angel and she knows he's in trouble.

am13.jpeg; 17K

And this is the trouble he's in.

am14.jpeg; 16K

But Angel has other plans. He'll just hang around and wait for the sun to rise because he isn't man enough to kill himself. Buffy wants him to reconsider.

am15.jpeg; 16K

Buffy makes a long tearful speech about how Angel means so much to her.

am16.jpeg; 18K

So Buffy says if she can't convince him, then there's nothing she can do. But the powers that be have other ideas...

am17.jpeg; 18K

...it is snowing in Sunnydale (hence no sun)...

am19.jpeg; 18K

...for the first time, well, ever.
