My first Covid vaccination

Just had my first hit, with Moderna, at a local pharmacy.

He rubbed my arm and I was "oh crap oh crap" and then he said "c'est fait" and I replied "quoi?!".

For non French speakers, he said it's done and I was like "you what?".

Didn't feel a thing.

What happened afterwards was weird, though.

My hands felt cold, and pins and needles. Not the affected arm (had it done in the right as I'm a leftie), both of them.
The rest of me feels fine.

I'm home now, it's an hour later and my hands are still tingly. I'm not wheezing, wetting myself, throwing up, convulsing, or anything like that. Just tingly hands.

Which is kind of weird.

Anyway, after sitting quietly for a little while (and buying a charity teddy bear), I decided that what I really wanted was chocolate. So I'm home, sitting in the sun, about to stuff eight sticks (two packs) of Kit Kat into me. ☺

Two hours later as I write this. Still a little tingly, but less so.
See? I needed a chocolate fix!

PS: I don't feel like I'm receiving 5G at all. But then I live out in the country. Maybe there's just no coverage around here?

Should add, got my phone to give me a basic check when I got home. Pulse 73bpm and a stress level nearly off the scale on the laid back end.

My blood reading is 118/78 which is actually pretty high for me (the last reading I did was 102/66 two years ago, that's more like normal), with a pulse having settled down to a tranquil 62bpm.

On the ROOL forum, Steve replied to what I said with:

Under the heading of “Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100)” and after the main five items:
“In clinical trials there were very rare reports of events associated with inflammation of the nervous system, which may cause numbness, pins and needles, and/or loss of feeling. However, it is not confirmed whether these events were due to the vaccine”

I suspect that you wouldn't like having gold markers (or "needles") injected into your prostate then.

That isn't done in the arm, and is a real "pain-in-the-prostate".

However, I would urge all male readers to have theirs checked as early and often as possible, just as I would recommend all to have the course of vaccination.

Off to my radiotherapy-planning CT scan this morning, now they have something to look for/at.

Hoping it's all external from now on!

Interesting the difference between "fiducial" and "fiduciary"! I'm a "marked man"!

Interesting that these things are injected into muscle and not blood vessel, so there should be no bleeding.
Enviable blood pressure you have there.

It's a simple substring match.
