Rick's better Tikka
Step 1 - Preparation

The first thing to do is to unwrap the chicken. If the chicken is whole breast, cut it into chunks about an inch square.

When you have done that, you may find a soaker pad at the bottom of the polystyrene pack (see picture below). If you have one of these, remove it.

Open the top container of the curry mix. It is a gritty brown sticky mess. What you should do is put the entire contents of the container onto the chicken...

...and stir it in well. Notice that the chicken turns red.

 

 

Leave this to marinade for fifteen minutes, or so. Meanwhile, put some water on to boil for the rice - as per instructions.
